Leave management is an important aspect in running a payroll and requires that we have considered the different aspects of it. Employees are entitled to take mandatory leave and as well as other forms of leaves that the company may have.
Within the system is the ability to define the types of leaves that the company expects. These can range from Sick Leave, Half Pay leave, Normal leave and much more. The system allows you to define as many leave types as possible which also considers if the leave days are looking at Weekends and Holidays.
Once your leave days have been defined one is now able to process their leave days management. The system allows you to allocate leave days as according to the days being taken and checks on your behalf if you are allocating the right amount of days.

Allocate Leave Days
At the start of the year each employee needs to be allocated the number of days that they are entitled to. This will form the balance that will be subtracted from them as the leave days are processed.
Process Leave Days
Leave days can be processed through different function which include adding new leave days for the employee which subsequently subtracts from the balance. One can edit the leave days and delete were appropriate.
As the leave days are processed the system will show the balance and control the days according to weekends, holidays and number of days taken. If a leave type considers Saturday as a working day the system will thus consider the weekend as a working day.
Selling Leave Days
One can also manage leave days where leave days have been permitted to be sold. The system will manage the leave balance and automatically calculate days taken, amount to be paid to payroll.
